Dr. Camille Endacott’s research focuses on how people construct their identities at work, especially with and around emerging technologies, and with what consequences for organizing. Her research has focused on the development and use of AI technologies in relation to identity construction, processes of onboarding and socialization in remote work, and organizational membership concerns in the technology industry. She primarily uses qualitative and field-based research methods. Dr. Endacott teaches courses for undergraduate and master’s students in Communication and doctoral courses for the Organizational Science PhD Program. Her courses explore organizational membership (COMM 3050), work and identity (COMM 4141), technology and organizing (COMM 6000), and research methods (COMM 6100, OSCI 8206).
