Dr. Margaret Quinlan was recently quoted in a Newsweek article about modern parenting efforts to update ideas around language and consent. Dr. Quinlan describes having to “unlearn many of the messages she was taught about deference to authority” and how she has raised her children to confide in her when or if they feel unsafe.

On February 20th, Dr. Margaret Quinlan served as the moderator at the Personally Speaking Event titled: “Invasive Prenatal Genetic Testing: Perspectives on Disability Rights and Reproductive Justice, part of the CHESS Personally Speaking Series. During the event, Dr. Quinlan introduced speakers and moderated questions from the audience.
