CFA Charleston Forensics Team Results

The Forensics team had an excellent weekend at the College of Charleston. In fact it was the best weekend tournament results thus far for Director of Forensics, Tim Horne! UNC Charlotte had 26 entries for this tournament and received an award for 19 of them. Hoke Pittman made finals in all 7 of his events and Matthew Morales made finals in all 6 of his events. For the finals of Poetry, UNC Charlotte occupied 4 of the 6 slots. The team had 3 students win a pentathlon award, which is no small feat and encompasses competing in at least five events from a three different categories. the team also came in 2nd in overall team sweepstakes. The team missed 1st due to a lack of debate teams, that they are making up for in their next tournament and will hopefully be bringing back first next time. Overall a very very successful weekend.
