Quinlan Co-Authors Article on the Power of Food Scale

Dr. Margaret Quinlan recently published an article in collaboration with colleagues titled, Psychometric properties of the Power of Food Scale during pregnancy and postpartum. The study, published in the Journal of Health, “examined measurement equivalence and convergent validity of the Power of Food Scale, a measure of hedonic hunger, throughout pregnancy and postpartum mothers in North Carolina and in comparison to young adult women from the NEXT Generation Health Study. Dr. Quinlan notes that this research was done with Dr. Jan Mooney, who recently obtained her PhD in Health Psychology from UNC Charlotte.
