Stokes Invited to Speak on Podcasts and in Speaker Series

Dr. Ashli Stokes was recently a guest on three podcasts about her new co-authored book with Wendy Atkins-Sayre: Hungry Roots: How Food Communicates Appalachia’s Search for Resilience. The shows included: New Books Network, the FRIED Podcast (University of Edinburgh), and Now, Appalachia.

Dr. Stokes also gave a talk on her book on January 16th at Aldersgate Senior Living Community as part of the CHESS Lifelong Learning for Senior Communities Speaker Series. This program matches CHESS speakers with community partners.
